Aged Colored Woman Dies "Aunt" Sallie MeElwaine. age 8'.\ well known and hlghlj1 respected colored woman, passed away at the home of her niece, Blanche Berry. Saturday afternoon. . Aunt Sallle's death took away one of the few of the older colored people who had lived their entire lives in this section. i She was a daughter of Uncle Law son Taylor and wife Marlah Taylor who have been dead for many year* but are remembered by older residents, as an honest, reliable, hardworking couple, respected by white and black.
