Plonk. r ' * Vi t&MJ ,; ,-i . , Home Arts Program Good Health was the program theme at the regular meeting of the Home Arts Club which was held last Thursday night at the home of Mrs: Harold Crawford. The Crawford home was profusely decorated for the occasion with pret ty arrangements of lilies, sweetpeas, peonies and double larkspur. Mrs. Fred Plonk was In charge of the program, which was ably pre* sented by Joyce Falls, who gave a reading, Mrs. Bill Craig, giving a fitting commentary, and Mrs, John Gamble who sang, accompanied by Mfs. J. E| Herndon at the piano. Following the program Mrs. Crawford, assisted by her mother, Mrs. Rossie Bird, served a tasty $alad and strawberry shortcake. When all the guests had arrived, to several games and contests ' were 21 enjoyed on the lawn with prizes being won by Jerry McCarter and Kathryn Ware. The young celebrant received sev lr eral lovely gifts, among which was an attractive corsage that she wore A during the party.
