At Beautiiul Tea
Mrs. W. Craig wis hostess on
Thursday afternoon, October 32, at
the Kings Mountain Country Glub
at a very beautiful tea, given to
honor her aunt, Mrs. T. A. Kay of
Ch'arleston, West Virginia, who is a
guest in the Craig home.
L The spacious rooms of the Club
were exceptionally lovely for the
occasion. Yellow chrysanthemums
were used in the hall and in the
lounge and ivy and ferns in artistic
arrangement accented the charm
of the Rose room. The dining room
was strikingly beautiful with the
brilliant red of the candles and Nandlna
berries being reflected with a
rosy glow in their gleaming brass
holders. On the mantel, magnolia
leaves and a variety of autumn
fruits in m'agnificent colors made a
decorative centerpiece.
Guests were greeted at the front
door by Mrs. H. E. Lynch. At her side
was Mrs. E. W,Griffin, who introduced
guests to the receiving line form
ed in the Rose room and composed
of Mrs. Craig, Mrs. Kay, Mrs. Garland
Winkler, Mrs. Price Robinson
of Gastonia, sister-in-law of Mrs.
Craig, Mrs. William Harrison of Lojwell,
neice of Mrs. Craig, and Mrs.

room where they were received
at the door by Mrs. Carl Mauney. In
the dining room they were served
