school cagers begin the windup of
the 1948 basketball schedule tonight
(Friday) here in a pair of non-conference
games with Belmont Abbey
Ramblers. The first game is scheduled
to get underway at 7:30, with
the local "B" squad opposing the
Rambler "B" team.
Both the boys and girls teams
swing back i'u "? conference play in
Lincolntoa T< xlay night whh the
Wolver and Wolyettes, in the second
nieeting of the two schools this
year. Lineolnton Won the double bill
here lan. 29, boys 38 to 31 and girls
girls 28 to 24.
The varsity teams end the conference
slate next Friday night in Central
gymnasium, tackling the strong
Shelby high school teams.
Coach Don Parker's boys team will
meet Belmont Abbey in Belmont
March_2 in a return game postponed
