The Markets Divls- ' ion of the North Carolina Depart-) ment of Agriculture has developed ! a statewide program with vocational j schools for the purpose of locating and, purchasing good breeding animate for war veterans who will com plete their training in agriculture this year and begin farming on their own. Preliminary survey of veterans' j requirements, according to Robert S. Curtis, livestock marketing specialist indicates a need for 1,900 breeding animals ? baef and dairy ca?Jg, pvltw *ud sheep. Mr. Curdsis now trying to locate a sufficient number of satisfactory animal* to megt^hfcneed. Tfte, program will get under way about March 1, Curtis said.
