Clarence Dixon is quite ill in Shelby
hospital. A brother, Roseoe Dixon
of Bel wood is also a patient there 1
and on Sunday they were visited by '
a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Lee Boggs of Statesvill^.
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Roberts, Mr. and
Mrs. E. R. Roberts and Miss Annie
Roberts attended the funeral of
their nephew and cousjn, Captain
Maxwell Farmer Par. ..tt, which was
held in Spartanburg, S. C., Sunday
afternoon. Captain Parrott was kill- '
ed in France March 15, 1944.
