Seniors of the Methodist Youth Fel
low-ship will meet Sunday evening
at , 6:30 o'clock in the youth chapel
for a discussion on "Pillars of Pro
testantism" to be led by their pastor,
the Rev. J. H. Brendali, Jr., as an
nounced by Jack Matthews, program
chairman for February.
A number of this group attended
the training school In Gas'-Jitia this
week to study with other MYF
groups about "The Methodist Youth
Fellowship as a Vital Force." The
attendance in this class averaged
140.
Miss Joan Blalock
Bride-Elect Honored
Mrs. Paul McGjnnis entertained
at her home Friday night at a party
and miscellaneous shower for Miss
Joan Blalock, bride-elect of March.
The hottie was attractively decorat
ed for the occasion with jonquils and
other spring blossoms.
Miss Blalock chose as her costume
an aquamarine crepe dress, with
which she wdre black accessories!
and a corsage given to her by the
hostess.
After th; period Of entertainment
consisting of bingo and contests,
Miss Blalock received a shower of
miscellaneous gifts. '
Later the hostess served a sweet
course with coffee. Miss Blalock was
given crystal in her chosen pattern.
Miss. Peggy Smith, bride.-elect,
