The camp di 1 rectors Miss Fla Stabler of Cleve land county and Miss Lynn Martin of Gaston county were responsible for making our week end a success. The girLs enjoyed the food and the activities they took part in. Those attending: Connie Bennett,) Sue Bridges, Betty Hawkins, Marion Hamrick, Doris Riddle and Dorene Ross along with their leader. Mrs: Polly Williams. There were a num ber of other troops present. Troop 14 May 24th the Brownie Scout Troop I 11 met in the basement of the Lu ' theran church. MLss Sybil Bianton greeted guests! at the door arid Miss Louise Baker | presented each one with a little j doil favor dressed in the Girl Scout colors made by the Scouts. The room was decorated with dai sies and white larkspur. After the color ceremony and a short program, the following girls were presented their Second Class pins.
