Sipes-Thomburg Wedding Vows Were Spoken Saturday Afternoon Miss Frances Nellene Sipes, dau ghtejr of M>. and Mrs. G. F. Sipes, became the bride of John Jacob Tnomburg, son of Mrs. M. L. Thorn burg and the late M. L. Ttfornburg of Kings Mountain, Saturday after noon at 3:30 o'clock at the Second Baptist parsonage, Rev. B. F. Thornburg of Kings Mountain, became the bride of Cur tis P. Watts, son of Mrs. Baxter A. Watts and the late Mr. Watts of ! Charlotte, in a ceremony Friday nigh* at Green Memorial Baptist church parsonage. Rev. David E. Bobbiu officiated using the double ring ceremony. Only members of the two families and a few close friends attended th^ wedding. 1 The vows were 'spoken in the liv ing room before thy mi ntel which was banked with sumhier flowers. The couple entered together, Ihe bride wearing a Copem-a^en Blue two-piece suit of silk shantung, a white Milan straw hat, and white accessories. Mrs. Thornburg is a graduate of the Ceptral High school and is em ployed at the Mauney Hosiery Mill. , Mr. Thornburg is a graduate of the j Beth-Ware schop) and is employed With the Burlington Mills. Immediately following the cere mony Mr. and Mrs. Thornburg ieft for a wedding trip to the mountains of Western North Carolina and oth er points of interest.
