Ware was a most gra cious hostess to members of the Study Club and invited guests at her tiome on Gaston street Thursday night. The home was attractive with flower arrangement of roses, zinni. and nasturtiums. Mrs, Charles Campbell, program chairman for the month, presented Mrs. J. B. Simpson and Brownie Scout Trdop "No. 14. Using the loud speaker the Brownies presented a radio version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: Cast: Snow White (Judy Cooper; Prince Charming ? Judy Cox; Queen ? Becky Thorn burg; Hunter ? These little girls ages from 8 to 10 did their parts remarkably well and were congratulated on being able to speak on the "Mike" with tuch ease and polae. During thg social period which preceded the business meeting the hostess was assisted in serving a party plate carrying out the autumn motif in salad, sandwiches and swpet course Which was. served with Russian tea. Mrs. Mary B. Goforth, head of the Kings Mountain office, reports there are 21 physically handicapped work ers now registered with the local employment office. Ten of this num. ber are veterans of World War H. Some of the 21 are already is train ing for productive work, and the ma jority are productive workers who ! are employed when local textile plants are in full operation, Mrs. Goforth reported.
