In the absence of the program chairman for the evening the guest speaker, Mr. Faison Barnes, was PHONE 187 introduced by Mrs. P. D. Herndon. Mr. Barnes in a very witty and en tertaining way discussed "Women's Property Rights," emphasizing the general nature and kind of wills. When asked if there were any ques tions, the ladies asked so many and wanted so mucb information the meeting was very informal and the ladies received a lot of "free infor mation." During the business period Mrs. Patter.wn distributed the new books. Roll was called and minutes of the last meeting read. Mrs. Barnes, the retiring president, expressed her, ap preciation for the cooperation given her during the year.; Mrs. Harry Moore and Mrs. Dan Finger were invited guests.
