We who have God's Word and try
I to obey it, must follow the Biblical
percenage in our giving. To do less
i? to place our standard below even
that of heathen people, for it is.
known that ancient pagans gave
tithes to their gods. To do less is to
make the standard of giving un- ;
der love lower than that under law.
To do less is to be disobedient to
God. And to fail to follow His Plan
of Christian giving. What a shame,
people in America can't Teally see
how fOftUMK-Vlhe&t-M"'?: tfoSj A*SL 1
blessed with so much God has so
freely given and yei when it. comes
time to give, they become deaf and
unconcerned to other people's need.
And mind you. they do it. Not with
their own, but with God's. And ig
don't mean money only. It's nice t<P
have, but It has no he^rt. Think
of your time, how do you spend it?
Living for others? living for your
your own sweet self? Remember,
love is one thing when shared, com
jes back in untold blessings. ,
| You meet people most every day
I who pat themselves on the back,
! and very proudly say: "Here I am,
'look you iucky people, I. give God.
lone hour every Sunday. I am this,'
I am that. I belong to this church,
! anal^HTh ?o a /id So be- ?
long there, and I can't tell how
many clubs I belong to. And, oh
yes. I'keep up with all the latest
movies. I also stand in good with
the board. I'm head in my church
and what I say goes, or it don't. If I
enap my fingers the preacher
jumps. An<k say, I almost forgot. I
have several lady frifcnds besides
my wife and she doesn't even
know." The wife may say the same.
Well, all 1 got to say Ls you're a
bigger dope than even you think
you are. A man or woman who will
smoke and drink and cheat on each
-other have stooped pretty tow. You
have been warned by experts and
you won't listen. O. K. so it's your
life do as y?3U please, but see where
it gets you.
