We ate very happy to have a number of new pupils to join us in manor of our grades. The pupils and members of the faculty are putting on efforts to naise money to help take care at the school expenses and pay Pot some equipment gotten to be used by members of the school family. For the first time in the school a Romeo -Juliet contest is being held among the boys and &rl? of Davidson. Five prizes are offered to the ones reporting the highest sums of money. The Brownie, Intermediate and Senior Troops of Davidson, held their first meeting off the new year last week. They have got ten off to a good start and plan to do some excellent scouting during this year. All boys and girls are urged to study hard and make good on their mid -term examinations that will be given on the 19th and 20th at this month. We hope that ev eryone has enjoyed a successful one-half year of school work.
