Miss Payne Honored At Breakfast Mrs. Walter Harmon and Miss Louann Herndon delightfully en tertained at a wedding breakfast Saturday morning at the New South as a special courtesy to Miss Frances Payne who was married to Ted Ramsey at 5:30 In the Presbyterian churoh. The central decoration of the table was a bowl of snapdragons. A delicious three course breakfast was served the honoree, Miss Pay ne, her mother, Mrs. W. H. Payne, Miss Betty Lynch, Miss Carolyn Kincaid, Bessemer, City Mrs. Da vid Neill, Misses Nancy ant' Bet ty Carroll, Asheboro, Miss Jo Culp, Miss Pat Harris and Mrs. J. L. Ramsey. Miss Payne presented her bridesmaids white horse hair braid hats which they wore in the wedding, Rhinestone bracelets to Miss Culp, organist and Miss Har ris, vocalist The hostesses pre sented Miss Payne a corsage of white split carnations upon her arrival, also china in her chosen pattern. - I i Tiny Tots Circus At Park Grac*. Couple Feted At Cake Cutting Last Thursday night prior to the Kimbrell -Spake rehearsal Mis. Pauline Thrift. Mrs. Uav.u Burton and Mrs. Frank Rippey i entertained me rh berg of the wed ding party, the members of the two immediate families and a few close friends at a cake cut ting at the home of Mrs. Thrift. . Lovely arrangements of roses were used throughout the home. The dining room table was cov ered with a snowy white cloth. The bride's cake, a beautiful cre ation in three tiers topped with a miniature bride and groom, was in the center of the table. On one end of the table a punch bowl nestled in a bed of roses and fern. On the other end of the table were compotes of mints and nuts. White ribbon encircled the table. On each corner were bows of rib bon and fern. Punch was served by Mrs. J. W. Phillip. After the bride and groom had cut the tra- j ditional first piece, the cake was cut and served by Mrs. Luco Jen kins. Pictures were made of the hap- 'j py couple before they left for the rehearsal.
