Friddle-Sneed Vows Pledged In Pretty Church Rites Sunday The Presbyterian .church of j Great Falls, S. C., was the sc?ne ! of a wedding, at noon on Sunday | June 4, when Miss Joanna Eliza Jbeth Friddle, daughter of Mr. G rover C. Friddle and the late, Margaret Lackey Friddle, became i the bride of William Ernest jSneed, Jr., son o t Mrs. W. E. Sneed and the iate Mr. Sneed. Reverend John S. Steele offi ciated. Miss Betty Blair of Charlotte presented music and Miss Peggy [Brasil of Great Falls sang "I Love Thet" and "O, rvomise Me. it eTe The bride was given in marri age by her father. She wore a suit of white Palm Beach mater ial with a pale blue blouse and white accessories. She carried an arrangement of white carnations and streamers on a white satin prayer book. Miss Mary Friddle of Gastonla was her sister's maid of honor. She wore an aqua suit with white accesories. Bill Mobley was the bride groom's best man. The couple greeted guests in the vestibule of the church after the ceremony. Mrs. Sneed is a student at Win throp College In Rock Hill. Mr. Sneed is employed toy the J. P. Stevens division of Republic Mills. He spent three years with the Navy in the Pacific during the war. After a short wedding trip the couple will live In Great Falls. Miss Davis left Monday for Catawba College to attend summer school. Class Oi 1940 Holds Reunion The graduating class of 1950 of the Kings Mountain high high school held a reunion Sat* urday afternoon. The reunion had been planned for Vake Mon tonia but due to the rain was held in the high 9chool cafeteria. Twenty eight members of the class with their families en)oyed the hj-j/p.? get-together.
