Guests were invited into the dining room, the table was over laid with a beautiful cloth in the center was an artistic arrange- j ment of mixed fail flowers in contrasting shades. Coffee was poured from a silver service from one of the table by Mrs. Hamrick. Mrs. J. A. The marriage of Miss Elizabeth M. Eshouse and William C. An thony was solemnized at 8 Sat urday evening in Stetson chapel in the presence of about 100 guests. The Rev. John Vander Ploeg, pastor of the Grace Chris tian Reformed church, performed the ceremony. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Eshuis, South Park street. Dr. and Mrs. J. E. Anthony, Kings Mountain, N. C., are the bride groom's parents. For her marriage Miss Eshouse chose a gown of white lace over satin with long sleeves and nylon net yoke. A gathered lace pep lum Extended to a point in the back over a full satin skirt and train. A white lace cap over satin secur'.*d her fingertip veil and she carried a bouquet of calla lillej. Attendants Mrs. Erwin Gutsell, as matron of honor, appeared in a lavender taffet frock styled with a fitted bodice and boat neckline. Her headdress was of matching net and she carried a colonial bou quet. - Identically styled frocks of Nile green and pale yellow were worn by the junior bridesmaids, Miss Nancy Mastehbrook and Miss Phyllis Eshius, respectively. Each wore a matching net headdress and carried a colonial bouquet of chrysanthemums. James E. Anthony, Kings Mountain, was best man for his brother. Ushers were Erwin Gut visitors present. Mrs. J. M. Rhea was in charge of the devotional and also the program. Mrs. J. K. Willia gave a talk on Medical Missionaries in Foreign Fields. After the program Mrs. Mc Curdy conducted a short business meeting. A committee was ap pointed to get a basket of groc eries and send some needy fam ily for Thanksgiving. During the social period after the business delicious refresh ments were served. Mrs. Anthony graduated from Ebenezer Christian high school and 'Western Michigan College, and is a teacher in the Qalesburg schools. Her husband, a graduate of Wake Forest College and Nor i th Carolina State College, receiv ed his master's degree from the University of Iowa. He is em ployed by the Upjohn Company.
