Troop No. 23 Our leader took us to see a movie on our last meeting day. "The Next Voice you Hear" was playing. We enjoyed it very much. We had a call meeting Thursday. At that meeting we made plans to march in the Christmas parade. We had a good time. We plan to make some crafts for Christmas at our next meeting. I know we will have fun. At our last meeting before the holidays we plan to exchange our gifts on our hike and decorate a Christmas tree for the birdies and leave them some water also. Phantoms To Open Cage Season 27th The Kings Mountain Phantoms, a local amateur basketball team, are scheduled to open the sea> son against Blacksburg, S. C., On December 27 in the Blacksburg gymnasium. j The Phantoms, coached by Da vid. Neill, former Kings Mountain high school player, will wear gold uniforms trimmed in royal blue this season and aire looking for a successful year. Boys returning from last sea son's team are Hugh Tompkins, Jim Cobb, Chubb Cobb,- Tow O^vens and Bill Morgan.
