Lay ton and seconded by Commissioner Oiland Pearson, the following resolution was u nanimously adopted: 1. ' To give and grant unto Mrs. S. S, Bridges, the keeper of Ihe Mu nicipal Lake, the full right and authority to sell fishing permits for the purpose of fishing in the City Lake, and that the charges for fishing during the day from sun-up to sun-down shall Ik? One ($1.00) Dollar or Fifty (50ci for one-half pf a day and that fishing permits at night shall be One ($1.00) Dollar for each night from sun-down to sun-up but no fishing permits shall be scld af ter 9:00 o'clock p. m. but all per sons huving fishing permits to fish at night may fish all night for $1.00. 2. It is further provided that no one shall fish from the banks but only from the boats provid ed by the City. 3. That Mrs. S. S. Bridges shall be required to furnish to the City of Kings Mountain a surety bond in the sum of One Thousand ($1,000) Dollars to indemnify the City for any misappropriation of funds collected by her for fishing permits or for the failure to turn in all funds to the City collected for fishing permits and it is fur ther provided that Mrs. S. S. Bridges shall turn in all funds collected weekly to the City Treasurer for the City of Kings Mountain. " ? ' / 4 It is further provided that Mrs. S. S. Bridges shall keep a record of all permits issued by her giv ing the names of the party or parties to whom same are issued. The foregoing resolution was unanimously adopted. Garland E.
