MRS. P. D. Phone 167 Twin-Table Club Met In Ware Home The Twin-Table bridge club members and two visitors, Mrs. Charlie Warlick nad Mrs. Char les Carpenter, Jr., were enter tained Tuesday evening by Mrs. M. A. Ware at her home on Gas ton street. The game, played at two tables was follewed by re freshments consisting of con gealed salad course with frozen punch. Petunias, zinnias and magno lias were used as room decora tions. _ Mrs. Charlie Warlick won hieh adore for visitors, Mrs, Charles Thomasson won club high, Mrs. H. C. Mayes received low score Award with Mrs. Claud Ham bright winning at bingo. Each receiving apropriate gifts. Looney's To Observe 25th Anniversary Mr. and. Mrs. G. C. Looney will observe their 25th wedding anni versary, Sunday, July 29. They will hold open house at their home 501 East King Street from 2 until 6 o'clock; All friends are invited to call. E Cash Wednesday afternoon with 13 members present. Mrs. C. J. Gault, Jr., presided over the business in the absence of the president. Minutes of the last meeting were read. It was suggested the club have a bulb and plant sale at the September meeting. Mrs. Tim Hord, program lead er, presented Mrs. J. L. MeGill who spoke on, "Color in Food" with the use of posters, and pic tures Mrs. MeGill illustrated how we might bring more color to our meals. Flower specimens of dahlias and gladioli were brought by members Two old fashion flow er arrangements were brought by Mrs. Cash and Mrs. T. L. Cash well, Jr. Mrs. Cash used arrangements of crepe myrtle and periwinkle with other cut flowers as a flo ral accent in the home. During the social period homemade ice cream and cake was served.
