Mr. And Mrs. Neisler Dinner Bridge Hosts .J Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Neisler entertained with a dinner bridge Monday night at their home on Piedmont Ave. their guests -were members of the Cloverleal Bridge Club. A yellow color plan was devised for the party appointments and special ' attention was directed to arrangements of Jonquils. Covers were laid at three small tables and before the bridge session, Mrs. Neisler served a delectable dinner. Mrs. John Gamble conducted the devotional. Mrs. Rowel l Lane, program chairman for the month, presen ted Rev. T. L. Caahwell who spoke .on, "The Physiological Balanced Child." Movies on family life were shown by Miss. Averitt. The fifth grade won the cup by having the most parents pes sent. Mrs. Martin Harmon Hostess At Parties Outstanding among the social events of last week were the bridge parties given by Mrs. Mar tin Harmon at the Country Club. On both occasions the club was profusely decorated with beauti ful arrangements of red carna tions, white gladllol and candles. Red carnations in handsome containers were decora tively plac ed in the party rooms to provide a rich back ground. Special em phasis on the approaching birth day anniversary of George Wash ington was. expressed in the deli cious refreshments and bridge tallies. The first party was given on Thursday night at which time the guests assembled at nine attrac tively appointed tables. In the center of each table were red car nations and greenery in crystal containers. Cherry tarts covered with whipped cream, with a small pastry hatchet In the side resem bling a tree trunk with a hatchet, nut cups, candy and cheese bis cuits were served with coffee. . At the close of the fourth pro gression scores were tallied and the highest scorer, Mrs. Hunter Nelsler was presented a gift. Sec ond high scorer, Mrs. C. R War lick and Mrs. W. K. Crook who held low score also received love ly gifts. - On Friday night Mrs. Harmon entertained another group of friends making up eleven tables for bridge. A dessert course was served prior to the games. Mrs. Don Blanton excelled In contract to receive the high score prize and the runper up prize was given Mrs. H. C.
