C? has received an appointment in his same rank in the Organized Reserve Corps in ceremonies at Third Army Headquarters, Fort McPherson, Ga. Under provisions of a new De partment. of rhe Army regula-' tions, warrant officers on active duty and holding temporary warrants in the Army of the Uni ted States may, upon application, be given Reserve appointment The ORC appointment does not .terminate temporary A US - ap. 1 poitments now held and will not affect present duty status. The change is made possible by a new Army policy which for the first time makes provision for the grade of Warrant Officer in the Organized Reserve.
