Teague Geneaology Orders Invited Advance orders are being ac cepted lor a book on Teague Clan Genealogy, according, to announ cement by Loyd W. Teague, of Granite Falls, chairman of the finance committee of the Teague Clan. The manuscript for the book, compiled and written by Rev. J. L. Teague, of Kings Mountain, has been Completed, and the fi; nance committee hopes to con duct a sufficient advance sale to publish the book within the forth coming year. Price is two dollars.. It was pointed out that only one printing of the book is planned. The Teague Clan will hold its annual reunion at Antioch Bap tist church in Alexander county on Sunday, August 31, it was an nounced. Cpl. Carl Davis Is Promoted To Sgt. Cpl. Carl Edward "Fuzzy) Da vis, now stationed in Korea, has recently been promoted from Corporal to Sergeant. He is the son of Mrs. E. L. Peeler, Jr. Speaks To Study Club Members A delightful meeting of the Study Club was held Tuesday night with Mrs. Charlie Thomas son at the Country Club. Arrangements of mixed sum mer flowers with special empha sis on zinnias and dahlias were used throughout the club. In'the absence of the president and vice president,. Mrs. P. Hern don, secretary presided. Mrs. B. S. Peeler was program leader for the month. Mrs. Thorn asson presented B. S. Peeler, Jr., who in a most interesting and en tertaining way showed colored movies of a recent trip he made to Mexico. He very graciously answered questions asked about the movies being shown, other activities and modes of life. He had quite an array of articles, pictures, silver, money scarfs and trinkets on display for all to see. Prior to the program a dessert course was served with ice tea. Mr?. Oliver Ramsaur, of Allen town, Penn., Mrs. T. A. Pollock, Mrs. W. B. Shutt and Mrs. Claud Hambright were special guests of the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Arthur, Miss Edith Arthur and Mrs. M? L. Plonk visited Miss Shirley Arthur in Montreal.
