operation Thursday morning in .

has returned to his home and Is
recuperating nicely.
Mrs. Harold J. Riddle, Jr. is |
leaving November 20th to Join
her husband who is serving with
the U. S. Navy on Guam Island.
She will leave California by
Transocean flight.

Greenville, S. C. visitors Tuesday.
Mrs. John Hicks of Old Fort
visited her daughter, Mrs. L. H.
Stewart and Mr. Stewart last

Pvt. Eugene B. Barrett left

will begin basic training He is
the son of Luther Barrett and
the late Mrs. Barrett.

ous condition at his home having
suffered a cerebral hemorrage
last Friday.

a visit with Mrs. t. G. Fulford
of Jackson, Tenn. Mrs. Fulford
is the former Miss Peggy Baker.

Guidance Series Play
The play, "Fresh, Variable
Winds", seventh in a series of
nine programs on child guidance
being presented -by the city
schools, was given at Central
school on November 11.
The play was under direction
of Mrs. Rosalie Suber and pupils
from West school made up the
east. They were: Robert Early,
Kathy floylc, Vick Smith, Peggy
Craig and Jean Hicks.
