Lewis with nine mem bers present During the business presided over by the leader, Mrs. H. E. I,ynch, a new member, Mrs. Met tauer was welcomed into the cir cle. Plans were made for helping a needy family for Christmas. Mrs. P. D. Patrick sent each one a book mark Christmas card. The Bible lesson was taught by Mr*. Paul Mauney. Mrs. J. W. Webster and Miss Helen Hay pre sented the program on, "The Joy Gift and Ministerial Ttellof." During the social period, Mrs. Lewis served fruit cake with whipped cream, mints and coffee. Mrs. Hugh Ormand Hostess To Tuesday Bridge Club Mrs. Hugh Ormand entertained members of the Tuesday After noon Bridge Club this week at her home on West King Street. Th$ attractive home was a gracious setting for the party, adorned with Christmas decorations. The tables were set up in the den. Contract bridge was the game of the afternoon and at the con clusion of the last progression, Mrs. W. L. Rnmseur was present ed high score for club members. Mrs. Sam Da /is received the visi tor's top score prize. Other guests in the party group other than club, members were Mrs. Sam Davis, Mrs. Johnnie Smathers' and Mrs. Ben SpeideL During progressions tables were laid and the hostess served a salad course, decorated cakes and colas.
