Herndon, Editor Miss Kinceid Honored With Wedding Breakfast Miss Jean McRae was hostess at her home Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock entertaining at an informal breakfast honoring Miss Sarah Mae Klncaid, bride-, elect and her honorary brides maids: The table was centered with a lovely arra'ngoment of white pojn settas and silvered, ivy. The hon orees place teas marked with a gift of silver in her Chosen pat tern. A three course breakfast was served to Miss Klncaid, Mes dames Horace Kiser, Paul Ham, Misses Reta Gamble, Faylene Palls, and Jean McRae. Mr. And Mrs. Johnny Kerns Entertain King Of Hearts Members ol the King of Hearts were entertained with a buffet supper Tuesday night, December 23, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Kerns. The home was lovely with' a variety of Yule decorations, the Christmas tree being one of the beauty spots. On the table, gay with the sea son motif?, were ham, asparagus casserol, Southern sweet pota toes, cole slaw, hot rolls, fruit cake and coffee. Following the meal bridge was played with prices for the high est scores, going to Mrs. Joe Hed den and Nathan Reed, Invited to share the hospitality were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hedden, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Howard. Carl D. Clary, asistant minister of Buford Street Meth odist Church in Gaffney, S. C., officiating. Mrs. Ware is the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. John H. McBrayer and is a graduate of Limestone College. She is a member of the faculty of Boiling Springs school. Mr. Ware has been interested for a number of years in . soil conservation practices and Is now Soil Conservation district supervisor from Cleveland County. The couple will make their home in Boiling Springs although Mr. Ware will continue his farm ing interests near Kings Mount ain. ? Student Night Observed At Central Methodist Student Recognition Night was observed at Central Methodist Church by students having charge of the Sunday evening service. Participating were Bob Goforth 7 leader, Don Patterson, Harvey -Bumgardner, speaker*, Barbara Grantham and Shirley Falls spe cial music, Rathona Allen gave a prayer, Barbara Gault, organist and other college students and high school seniors of the choir.
