The Men's Progressive Club met Tuesday night at the school house for a regular meeting. The Youth Fellowship group of El-Bethel prepared their supper. A friendly census was comple ted last week around El-Bethel community. This was in prepa ration of the Evangelistic Reviv al services to be held in May. Rev. Huffstetler was well pleas ed with the results. Mrs. Joe Peterson is a patient for treatment and observation in the Kings Mountain hospital. Mrs. Ju'N. Smith returned to her home here Sunday after spending two weeks at Waxhaw with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gamble. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Harmon of Greenville, S. C., have announ ced the arrival of a baby dau ghter on last Monday, March 9. Mr. Harmon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. P. K. Harmon. Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Doster and Sherry have returned home after spending several weeks in Cali fornia with their daughter and family, Mrs. Doris Bowles. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gamble of Waxhaw were Sunday guests of Mr. Gamble's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Gamble. Eddie Matuiews spent the weekend at Hickory with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dutton and family. The Senior class play will be presented Friday night at Beth ware. The troop won the attendance and advancement banner for the second consecutive time at the last court, the troop would like to thank the troop board of re view for its help and w-operation which was largely responsible. T'..e troop board boasted an at tendance of 10 members at the last "Little Court" with 21 scouts present. It was ' election night and re sults were: James Pressly, Senior patrol leader; Bob Houser, Har old Jackson and Ben Moomaw, patrol leaders; Chip Nelsler, Phil Padgett and George Harris, assis tant patrol leaders.
