Chambers Rites Held Sunday Graveside funeral rites for Kicky Dale Chambers, 5-months old son of Mr. and .Mrs. Thomas' A. Chambers of Kings Mountain, were conducted Sunday at -1 p. m. from Patterson Grove Baptist church cemetery. Rev. Jake Thornburg was in charge of the service. Young Chambers died Saturday night at 12:30 p. m. in Shelby hospital following a three-d?y 111 ness. Rites Aie Held For Moss Infant Graveside rites for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Moss were conducted Wednesday at *1 p. m. from Mountain Rest ceme tery. Rev. R. L. Hardin, pastor of Macedonia Baptist, was in charge of the service. Surviving in addition to the pa^ rents are his maternal grandpa rents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Allen and his paternal grandparents, Sir. and Mrs. Theodore Moss. The infant was born Tuesday at Kings Mountain hospital and lived only 12 hours. 1700's,. emphasizing its original beauty and simplicity. The sur rounding gardens, designed by Miss Cora Harris of Charlotte, include an 18th century herb garden, long perennial 'borders, and naturalized planting throu gh the adjoining woodland. The gardens are expected to toe at the height of their spring blooming I season by April 15. Throughout the year, they attract garden enthusiasts from many states. Both the home and gardens will be open to visitors from 10 a. m until sunset April 15. No admission tickets will be sold, although voluntary contribu tions will be accepted lor the Elizabethan Garden Fund. The Elizabethan Garden is bo in'g developed on grounds- ad joining the site of the first Eng lish colonization of America in 1585, during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. A part of it is ex pected to be completed and o pened to the public by the com ing summer.
