She gave the annual report for Kings {Mountain Presbyterial, of Which she is president. Two Injured Friday In Highway Accident Two highway accidents occur ring in this area were reported this week by Kings Mountain po lice officers. Three cars collided on Parker street Friday morning. Police of ficers said a ; car operated by Mack Murray, of route 1, was traveling north on Gaston street, and collided with another vehicle operated by Winslow Spurling. A third car, which was parked, was hit in the collision. Damages to a car operated by Luther Dean Spearman, of route 2, were estimated at $100. Police said that the front wheel of the vehicle hit a manhole Saturday morning. City Police Officers B. P. Cooke and P. A. Hawkins investigated. None was injured. The fire started from an oil heater in the establishment. Only smoke damages were reported. Recreation Midgets Play Here Friday The "Midgets" football team of the Kings Mountain Recreation commission is scheduled to meet Cramerton's Midgets at Kings Mountain stadium Friday after noon at 2 p. m. The Kings Mountain lads de feated Cramerton last week by 34-0 and are favored to take the return match. No admission charge will be made, Director Red Layton said. Police Report Two Highway Accidents Riley Haden, 26-year-old Kings Mountain man, is receiving treat ment at Kings Mountain hospital for injuries sustained in an auto mobile accident on Highway 29 north of Blacksburg, S. C. Friday night. He received emergency treat ment at Cherokee County hospl-' tal in Gaffney. G. C. Meetze, of Gaffney, S.
