the rear by a car driven by Billy
Gene Ramsey after the Kiser car
had made a sudden stop in order j

A second accident reported by
police on Friday occurred on West
King street around 6:25 p. m. Ac
cording to the. report, a car driven
by Jack Hoover Whjte, of Char
jlotte, was stopped in orde- to
m^ke a turn, and was struck in
the rear by a vehicle driven by
Carl Thompson, of E. Con. Ave.,
Manor Aparf., Plnehurst. The
Thompson car, police reported,
came over a rise in the road and
failed to apply brakes in time to
avoid the accident. Total property ?
