The Rev. Donald Fisher heard the exchange of vows. Wedding music was rendered by Eugene Sweezy, brother of the groom, pianist, and Miss Ann Dodd,vocal soloist. The bride given in marriage by her father, wore a wedding dress of white lace over net and taffeta. The gown featured a strapless bodice topped with fit ted jacket and ankle-length skirt fashioned of scalloped tiers of lace. Her illusion veil was drap ed from a coronet of pearls and lace and her bouqueet was a dus. ter of white roses on a white prayerbook. Mrs. Jimmie Brackett was mat tron of honor. Bridesmaids were Misses Doris Hamrick and Juan. ita Lackey, the latter of Kings Mountain. The attendants wore dresses of baby blue silk embroidered or. gandy with headdresses of mat. ching blue flowers. Their bou quets were nosegays of mixed flowers. The bridegroom’s father was •best man, and Joe Harrelson and Charles Sweezy, brother of the bride and bridegroom respective, ly, served as ushers. Mrs. Sweezy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ralph Harrel. son of Shelby, is a recent gradu. ate of Waco high school where she was active in the Waco chap, ter of the Future Homemakers of Tomorrow having been chosen as the school’s “Homemaker of Tomorrow.” Mr. Sweezy, son of Mr. and Mrs. William P. Sweezy of Kings Moun tain, was graduated from Waco high school last year. He is em ployed by Goforth Brothers. The couple will live in Shelby at 703 Royster street. PERSONALS Mrs. J. C. Doctor Faces Court Charges An Ohio doctor is scheduled to face two counts in City Record er’s court Monday afternoon as a result of a three . car collision at the intersection of Gold street and Battleground avenue, Saturday evening around 6:25. Dr. Wallace Chiles, whose ad dress was listed on police records as Springfield, Ohio, was charg. ed minutes after the accident by city police with drving while drunk and carrying a concealed weapon. According to police records, Dr. Chiles operating a 1954 Chrys. ler, attempted to make a right turn off Gold street into Battle, ground avenue. During the at tempted turn, he failed to straig. hten his vehicle and hit a 1950 Nash, knocking it into a 1956 Chevrolet. Both cars, the records stated, were parked in a parking lot on Battleground avenue, a. cross from the B & B Restaurant. Max G. Bolin, route 2, was list, ed as owner of the Nash, and Joe Thomas Barrett, of 111 Cleveland avenue, was listed as owner of the Chevrolet. Property damages were estima. ted to total $340.
