Couple Is Honored At Rehearsal Party Rev. and Mrs. T. A. Lineberger and Miss Rhea Lineberger hon ored Miss Peggy Cloninger and William E. (Bill) Harmon at an after-rehearsal party Saturday evening. The party was held following the couple’s wedding rehearsal and was attended by members of the immediate families and the wedding party. A color note of pink and white was observed throughout the church, fellowship hall. A white linen doth covered the bride’s table which held tapers in crystal candelabras, the pOnch service, and pink and white arrangements. Heart-shaped and wedding bell. Elizabeth Stewon, Editor shaped cakes were served with pink punch and salted nuts. Miss Florence Cloninger, sister of the bride-elect, served punch. Miss Oloninger wore a full skirted pink party dress with mat ching accessories. The wedding of Miss Cloninger and Mr. Harmon was an event of Sunday in Macedonia Baptist church. Harmon In Church Rites In a 12 o’clock noon wedding Sunday in Macedonia Baptist church, Miss Peggy Faye Clonin ger and William Erskine Har. mon, both of Kings Mountain, were united in marriage. Rev. T. A. Lineberger, minister of the church, and Rev. Wayne Haynes, of Grover, torother-in. law, of the bride, performed the impressive ceremony. The couple pledged vows of the double - ring ceremony be fore a background of white glads and greenery. Wedding music was rendered by Miss Rhea Lineberger, organ ist, who played “Tenderly” by Gross, "Through the Years” toy Youmanns, “Clair de Lune” by Debussy, and the traditional mar. ches, “Bridal Chorus” from “Lo hengrin” toy Wagner and Mendel. ssoWn’s “Wedding March” from "A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The couple entered the church together. The bride wore a Dior blue chiffon dress featuring a fitted bodice and full street-len gth skirt. She wore a matching jewel hat with matching Shoes and carried a white prayerbook topped with white rosebuds from which extended white ribbon streamers. Her only ornament was a single strand of pearls. Mrs. Cloninger, mother of the ; bride, wore a street . length dress ;of Cinder gray with black acces sories and a white shoulder cor sage. The groom’s mother, Mrs. Ben F. Beam, was dressed in French blue with matching accessories and her corsage was also of white carnations. Ushers were Dwight 'Ware and Richard McGinnis, both of Kings Mountain. The couple received wedding guests in the church vestibule and left for a trip through the moun tains of Western North Carolina. Mrs. Harmon wore a gray white trimmed dress vdth white acces ories and the flowers from her prayerbook. Mrs. Harmon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. June Cloninger, was graduated from Kings Mountain high school. Mr. Harmon, son of , Mrs. Ben F. Beam, of Kings Mountain, was graduated from Kings Mountain high school, Gardner . Webb college, and ser. ved in the army two years. Both are employed here by Neisler Mills. The couple will occupy an a partment at 403 West Mountain street.
