John Scott Duncan, who weighed in at eight
pounds, three ounces 12 minutes 30 seconds after
the arrival of the New Year, is winner Of the Kings
Mountain Herald's ninth annual Baby Derby for
1964.
Young Duncan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tal
madge Coran Duncan, 3150 Midpines. Dr. John C.
McGill was the attending physician. The Baby Der
by Winner was born at Kings Mountain hospital
where both mother and baby are doing well.
Kings Mountain area merchants are shower
