The Compact high school base
ball team has vet to post a win
in two outings this season.
The Cobras opened the season
with J.H. Gunn of Charlotte last
week, and tied the Charlottcans,
5-5. The Cobras fell victim to

second contest- with Cobra
moundsman. Charles Jones pit
ching both contests for the locals.
TheCoenpact defense has been
the major factor in the Cobras
