A 1936 model car was estimat
ed a total loss following a wreck
on Chestnut Street Sunday after
noon at 1:08 p.m.
Police reports indicated that
Allen lav Jones. 1»>, of 3K) Ful
ton Street, was driving the ear
which was demolished, hut none
was reported seriously injured.
A second car, driven by Max
Jerry lav. 23. of Route 1. Box 388
was also involved and damages
to his ear were estimated at $700.
The Jones car was traveling
North on Chestnut Street and the
Lee car was going south when
the two cars collided, causing
damages to the left side of each
vehicle.
Jones was charged with ex
ceeding a safe speed upon com
pletion ol police investigation.
