Nazarenes Hold District Meeting The pastor and members of the Church of the Nazarene in thin area will take part in the annual North Carolina district assembly to be held at the First Na/arene church in Hendersonville on Wed nesday and Thursday. Sept. 16 17. Annual re|K>rts will be made by pastors of IX churches on the dis trict. These* churches have a total of about 3,200 members and a Sunday school enrollment total of 6,200. Curry'. 19. whose wife. Shirley, live* at 120 Wilson St.. Kings Mountain, N. C.. is participating in 11th Air Assault Division maneuvers at Fort Gordon. Ga.. ending in mid November. During the four.month long maneuvers Curry is aiding in the support and supervision in logis tics and the movement of per sonnel. The llth Air Assault Division is the only unit of its kind in the Army. Its mission is to conduct tests to determine how far ihe Army should go in substituting aircraft for ground vehicles and ground-based weapons systems. An ambulance driver in the .With Medical Company regularly stationed at Fort Bragg, N. C., Curry entered the Army in May 15tf>3 and received basic training at Fort Knox.
