and John, will spend the Thanksgiving holidays in Big Stone
Gap, Va. with Mrs. Bunch's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Fra- I

Mrs. Bunch and her daughter left Tuesday afternoon
and Mr. Bunch and sons joined the family on Wednesday.

Linda Sherrer, Kings Mountain Carrousel Princess, left
Wednesday for the annual Thanksgiving-season festivities in i
Charlotte which culminates with the Thanksgiving Day 125
unit parade to be televised at 3 p.m. this afternoon.

Miss Snerrer's participation in the event is sponsored
by the Kings Mountain Merchants Association. The 65 blue
convertible she will ride in will be provided by Victory j
Chevrolet company.
Princess cars will be decorated around the theme,
"Symbol', of Freedom" and savings bonds goes to the first
and second place winners. Miss Snerrer's car will have a lib
erty bell as its central decoration.
Wednesday night Miss Sherrer and her escort, Beattie
Leonard, attended the Knights of Carrousel Ball at Char
lotte Coliseum where the new Carrousel Queen Sharoyn
Absher of Kannapolis was crowned. The Kings Mountain
Princess is one of 35 high school seniors vieying for the
Queen's Crown in 1965.

Mrs. E. W. Neal presented a program on Thanksgiving
at Thursday's Book Club meeting at the home of Mrs. P. G.
Pedgett.
The Kings Mountain librarian and retired teacher gave
an illustration of special services of St. Paul’s Cathedral in
London. England to highlight her program and compared
the St. Paul’s Thanksgiving service with those in this country.
Mrs. J. M. Patterson was program chairman.
Mrs. Padgett served a salad and dessert course.

seed pearls and long traditional
sleeves. The softly draped dome
skirt was highlighted by sprays

chapel train. Her butterfly veil

crown of pearls and aurora crys
tals and she carried a lace and

white orchid.

Turkey Tetrazzini
1 tablespoons butter, divided
>» pound mushrooms, sli<cd
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
l*i cups milk
1 bouillon cube
'» teaspoon tabasco
2 cups diced cooked turkey
2 tablespoons diet'd pimiento
2 cups (4 ounces i fine noodles,
cooked
’» cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup soft buttered bread
crumbs
Melt three tablespoons of the
butter in saucepan. Add sliced
mushrooms and c >ok five mi
nutes. Blend in flour and sail.

stirring constantly, until mixture
