GENE TURNER The Fastpitch Midwestern Soft ball tournament is being held this week at Brice Memorial Park in Grover. There are re freshments for sale each night and a i)ony donated by Montgom ery Gulf Service Station, Graver will be given away to the one holding the lucky ticket spon sored by the Grover Rescue Squad the last game of this tour nament which will run through Monday with two games sched uled each night. Bob Mabry and Troy Blanton who were in a truck-car accident July 2th near Rutherfordton, re main patients in the hospital. Bob Mabry is in Kings Mountain hospital and Troy Blanton is in the Gaston Memorial, Gastonia. Jack Pinkelton was dismissed from the Kings Mountain hospi tal Saturday after a week of ob- sei-vatlon and tests. Visitors of the Jack Pinkeltons over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Dixon and family of Harrisburg, Mr. and Mrs. Rus sell Pinkelton of Charlotte, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Wooten of Greenville, and Mr. and Mi-s.
