Trinity Baptist church, Besse-
iper City, will observe its fifth
annual liomecoming, on August
8. Trinity was organized as a
mission on the second Sunday in
Augu.si, 1960, and c-onstituted in
to a Baptist Cliurch Octolier 4,

Sunday School will begin at
9:43 with an attendance goal of
125 set for this .Sunday. The
■Morning Worship will follow at
11 o’clock. Dinner will be served
on the church grounds at noon.

The Shelby Teener Leaguers
defeated Calhoun. Georgia, 8-0
this morning to capture the
Southeastern Regional Teener
League title and to advance to
the Teener League World Series
which will ibe played in Hershey,
Pennsylvania, August 13-20. The
Southeastern tournament was
played at Belmont Abbey College
in Belmont.
Shelby will represent the
Southeast in the tournaments.
Shelby won the berth by defeat
ing Grecneville, Tennessee, twice
by scores of 8-1 and 9-1 and by
downing Calhoun, Ga., by scores
of 8-3 and 8-0. Shelby was de
feated by Georgia 1-0 in the two
teams first outing Monday after
noon.
