TKurs'day, August 12, 1*965 Vacation Chnich School Condnded At Shiloh Piesbyterian Chnich GROVER — Vacation Church School was concluded this morn ing at the regular Church School Hour. Teachers for this school were Mrs. Edith Morgan, Mrs. Margaret Smith, Mrs. Jan Ham mett, Miss Jean Neal, Miss Elaine Pruette, Mr. Hobson and Mrs. Ruth Hambright, Music Director. The Women of Shiloh Presbyterian church served the needed refreshments. Oaixil and Dawn Hambright, Mrs. W. R. Wylie of Blacksburg, Mrs. Harry Burnham and children of Limerick, Maine spent Sunday in Blowing Rock. Oritchfield on Saturday, August 14, at 8 o’clock at Everglades Presbyterian church. Belle Glade, Florida, left Friday for Florida whore he will visit until his wedding there. Tommy Hope, who is to be a groomsman in the w(Hlding accompanied Bubba to Florida. (Lynn Montgomery and Jane Moss spent Wednesday and Thursday with their grandpar ents, Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Mont gomery. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Went worth of Paris, Tenn., were weekend family guests of Mr. and Mrs. Blease Goforth. Mis. Wentworth is sister of Mrs. Go forth. Mrs. Lucille Davis, Inez Davis, and Mrs. Lionel Barnes were weekend guests of Miss Louise Harry at their home in Blowing IRock. Mr. and Mi-s. Clyde Randall attended Home Coming at Oak View Baptist church Sunday af ternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hambright, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Turner were Thursday afternoon and evening visitors at the 4-H Club Camp at Swannanoa, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Queen, Patsy and Charlene were Satur day through Tuesday giuests of ■Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson in Roanoke, Va. “Bubba” Rountree who will be married to Mi.ss Virginia Dee Joe Rountree, Jaquitha Roun tree and Buzzer Morgan spent Monday through Thursday as guests of Mrs Amanda Crocker at Myrtle Beach. Mrs. Crocker is Buzzer’s aunt. Mrs. H. L. Beam left Charlotte Saturday by jet plane to visit Mr. and Mrs. Bill Westmoreland who make their home in Penn. Mrs. R, D. Moss visited rela tives in Virginia the past week. Sunday spend the-day visitors of Mrs. Neva Barnes, Gary and Dennis were Mr. J. B. Huskey of Blacksburg, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Huskey, Mr. Pink Huskey of Smyrna and Mr. R. M. Martin of Kings Creek, S. C. Watterson who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Charlie Martin and Mr. Martin in Burlington returned home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Hood Watterson went for Mrs. Watterson on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Keeter spent several days at Cherry Grove 'Beach this week. Mrs. C. F.
