Page 2 Piano Pupils Give Recital Here Tuesday Piano pupils of Mrs. iL. E. HIn- nant and Mrs. Joe Neisler, Jr. were presented in annual foivnal recital Tuesday evening at St Matthew’s Lutheran church. Also playing on the program was Virginia Herndon, pupil of Mrs. J.. E. Herndon. The affair honored the Browns' daughter, Janet. After an afternoon swim, the young women were served a picnic supper on the lawn. Attending from Kings Mountain was Miss Linda Plonk. Other activities honoring the season's Sub-Debs include a Casino Party honoring Miss Plonk with Mr. and Mrs. David C, Beam and Mr. and Mrs. Wray A. Plonk as hosts. Other parties are planned in Rutherfordton, Shelby, and Cherry- ■"e. In addition, the debs have been invited to a cruise on VI Lake Norman.
