Wilder at Thursday’s Thanksgiving ser vice at Kings Mountain Baptist church where the Morrison fami ly are members. Miss Morrison represented the city in the Thanksgiving Day Carolinas Carrousel in Cliarlotte. Funeral rites for Mrs. Rosa Lee Huffstetler Ramsey, 88, widow of Logan Mayberry Ramsey, were held Wednesday at 3:30* p.m. from her home at 802 First street. Rev. C. C. Parker and Rev. Dix on Adams officiated at the final rites and interment was in Mountain Rest cemetery. Mrs. Ramsey died Monday at 6 p.m. following illness of several months. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Huffstetler, she was wife of the late Logan Ramsey who died August 24, 1965. Surviving are four sons, Law rence Ramsey, Harvey Ramsey, Lloyd Ramsey and Paul Ramsey, all of Kings Mountain; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Wells and Mrs. Mexie Boheler, both of Kings Mountain: 14 grandchil dren; 20 great - grandchildren; and two great-great grandchil dren. Climaxing the program was the awarding of a bronze plaque to Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Fulton, Jr., owners of Fulton’s, as the mer chant adjudged to have best decorated show windows in the Christmas motif. The arrangements committee for the community’s first outdoor Choral Festival included Allen Jolley, chairman; Charles Dixon and Mayor Moss. Dixon To Preach At Sunday Service Bev.
