The bride-elect wore a pink taffeta party dress with dyed-to-match slippers and carnations, gift of the hostesses. ♦ ♦ * ♦ Concorf Series To Open RichaTd Haymah-an^ thi''K^hattan'^^^s Orches tra "In A Viennese Night" will open the 1968 concert season November 9th of the Gastonia Community Con cert Association. All concerts will be held at 8:15 p.m. in Hunter Huss high school auditorium. Mrs. John O. Plonk, Jr. of Kings Mountain member of the Class of 1970 board of directors. Other concerts scheduled include: Ronald and Jeffrey Marlowe, pianists, on Saturday, Dec. 7th: the Norman Luboff Choir on Friday, March 21; and the Oratorio Singers of Charlotte on Monday, May 5th.
