To Barbara Diane Goins, the first baby born to Kings Mountain area parents these firms are honoring her with many, many valuable gifts as detailed on these pages. Little Miss Goins, who is also Cleveland County's First Baby of the New Year, weighed in at five pounds, 13 ounces. New Year's Day at 2:39 a.m. She is second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Goins of 1440 Second Street. Their other child is five-year-old Tammy Goins. Attending physician was Dr. John C. McGill. Barbara Diane's father is a Kings Mountain native who works for Wix Corporation of Gastonia. Mrs. Goins is the former Edna Haney of Gastonia. Proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Goins of Kings Mountain and Mrs. Annie Lee Haney of Gastonia. JV
