Removal of this moistuie with
proper exhaust fans can sav<>
hundreds of dollars in cleaning
and repair bilks, she ad.is.
Members df Extension Home
makers Clubs in Richmond Coun
ty recently visited local dealers to
study the various L'T*'-'' of home
exhaust fans.
They learned that the hood
mounted fan which is ducted to
the outside, not only carries off
odors and grea.se, hut heal and
moisture as well. Xon-ductod
hood fans use a system of filters
to clean the air and return it to
the room, hut they do not remov<
heat ami moisture.

Mrs. Donna Coble, an Alamance

Before the workshop, .Mrs. Co

eel to make alterations on pat
terns.
That wag the turning point
Mrs. Ann D. Jone.s, associate
home economics Extension agent,
reports. Mrs. Coble made house
coats and other garments as
Cliristmas gifts. Xow she’s busy
constructing garments for her
spring and summer wardrobe for
her thret- nieces.
"Knowhirw made the differ-
