GIRL SCOUT WEEK BEGINS ON SUNDAY
Next week is Girl Scout Week. Kings Mountain area Girl Scouts, from Brownies to Sen
ior Girl Scout age, are participating and will begin a full week of activities on Girl Scout
Sunday this Sunday by attending the Church of their choice on Sunday.
At 3 P.M. Sunday Senior Girl Scout Troop 200 will officially dedicate and formally pre
sent to the City a Welcome Sign at the western entrance to the City.
All troops in the city under the leadership of Mrs. W. C. Ballew, Neighborhood Chair
man, are planning various activities next week.
The annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale begins Friday. Buy a box of cookies and help Girl
Scouts finance their worthwhile projects, including the purchase of a New Camp Site at
Golden Valley.
Support the Girl Scout Program In Kings Mountain and The Pioneer Council.
