The bride’s wedding gown was ft street-length design of white lace and bridal satin designed a- long empire lines with wedding ring collar, longsleeves and white satin bow at the high waistline. A white satin bow held her bouffant shoulder length veil of illusion dnd she carried a nosegay of white roses centered by a white orchid. The maid’s gown was a street length design of blue crepe with matching headdress and veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses. Members of the McClure fam ily went to New Mexico for the wedding. After a wedding trip to San Francisco, the newlyweds will be at home at 6201 Atlantic Boule vard, Apartment 2, Long Beach, Califomia. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jo seph N. McClure of Kings Moun tain, the bride is a 1964 graduate of Kings Mountain high school and received her Bachelor of Mu sic degree in June 1968 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. At UNC-G she was a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, honorary nuisic fraternity. She is a teacher in the Long Beech Uni fied School District, Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Jones of Romford, Essex, England, are parents of the bridegroom. A graduate of the University of Lon. don, he served in the United States Army. He U a project en- gmeer-Por'Fil*re9oard Corporation in Los Angeles. Temple Baptist Church of Charleston, West Virginia, provided the setting Saturday- morning at 11 o'clock for the wedding of Miss Cynthia Susan Posten and Donn Bennett Free man. Vows of the double-ring cere mony were pledged before the Rev. Roland Weisser. A reception was held after the cremony in the church leception hall. Miss Mary Ai*nold Dillon was the bride’s maid of honor. Don ald E. Carlton of Louisville, Ky. was the bridegroom’s best ^an. Rev. John Frazier heard the couple pledge vows of the double- riniiT ceremony. Gaither Bumgardner was pian ist for the program of nuptial music and vocal numbers were by Miss Freida Bowen. Miss Bowen sang “Because” before the cere mony and “The Lord’s Prayer’’ as the benediction. The altar of the church was arranged with an arch entwined with ivy and centered with a large anangement of white glads and banked with palms, fern and lighted tapers in wrought-iron candelabra. Seven-branch white wrought- iron candelabra were set with spiral tapers at the altar with background of palms and Oregon fern and a central arrangement of white gladioli. Mrs. Lanny Smith was organist for the program of nuptial music and vocal numbers were by Mr. Smith. George Edward Nolen escorted his daughter to the altar and gave her in marriage. The bride’s wed- ding gown w-as a formal design of white Alencon lace over satin featuring an empire w-aistline with back satin b<^)w and Chapel length train. The Victorian style ^ewn had a collar of lace petals and long chiffon Juliet sleeves with fitted lace cuffs at the w-rist.
