Clayton Bolton 206 X.Piedmont Avenue Kings Mountain, N, C. 739-3,552 On Letter To Editor I see by the paper that the Jaycees are still busy, going to i the schools, handing out pam - phlets, and trying to brain-wish j the people into Ihinking lhat I they nct'd Fluoride in tlieir wat- jer, to protect their ehildien's j teeth. Well I am not saying that Fluoride won’t save a few teeth for our children, but I will say 1 that the tooth brush will do a j better job of saving tet'th than I Fluoride, or anything el.se that has ever been put on market, and I have never heard of a cast' any where that the ust' of a tooth brush has caused any side ef fects, or has its use ever t^usetl anjone that is already suffering from any kind of sickness to gel any iworse. Well I can’t say the same thing for Fluoride, it has been proved tliat it is a poison, and is used in several different insecticides, it lias al.so b<'<'n proved that if Fluorile is con sumed for a number of years it will cause, hardening of the ar id ies, lieart trouble, kidney and ..ver infection, and many other serious conditions. And just think of what it would do to the many older people that are already suffering from the.se ailments, and I just want to say lhat if anyone has any douitt that I know these things to be true, I will invite that per.son to my home at anytime he or she wi-sh- es, and I will show them the pittof that I have from famous doctors, and scientists all over the county, 1 havt' just come from Kings Mounlain hospital and as I walkt'd down tho hall ways and visilel the patients I notiec'd that .50 percent of them are fifty .years old or over.
