gram in Roekingh.im County has
been very popular and Ls now opn-
sidered essential for low-income

pr.igram in 19(18, four county-wide
exhibits and 17 work.shop.s have
been held.
Among tho-so trained to make
mattre.s.ses were Extension home
makers, young homemakers, voca
tional home economies teachers,
studonhs, ministers, welfare offi-
clal.s, aides and their recipients.
The bedding program has reach
ed far inti the county, not only
with mattress making, but with
bedding buymanship.
This desire for better bedding
has developed better attitudes as
well as pride in the home and
surroundings. This program has
saved Rockingham County low-in-
eome lamilies hundreds of dollars
already and there is a continuing
demand tor training.
