Mrs. Carl Bridges of Route 1 has organiZ(Hl a city wide effort by all scout troops in the area in cleaning and mowing the rail road from Wells .street to the overhead bridge at King .strcH't. Danny is a candidate for Eagle Scout and this constitutes his Eagle Project. The following troops are to participate: Troops 91; 92; 95; 491 and 405. Two troops in the area, 90 and 93 will be at scout camp and could not help. The work will bo done Satur day Juno 12 beginning at 8 a.m. The City of Kings Mountain has pledged full support and will provide dump trucks for carrying away the debris.
