Mrs. Nix on was standing nearby and the group sang two songs for her. This was a sponlaneocs gift from the Youth Chorus to Mrs. Nixon, as it was not scheduled on tiie program. They sang "A qjuiet Place," and a “A Wonderful Day.” Pictures were made of ‘.lie Youth Chorus with President Nixon and Roman Catholic Aivh- bisiiop- Hlumberto S. Medeiros of Boston, who had delivered the sermon at the worship services. All the boys in the chorus re ceived cuff links with -the seal of the President and each girl wa presented a pin with the sani seal. Each chorus member was also yiven a personally auto graphed bulletin of the worship servicoiby President Nixon, and will later rereive an a. tograph- ed picture of the Presi(!(*nt and a tape of the worsliip service. The chorus enjoyed a 'four hour bus tour of Wasliington dur ing tlieir slay and was also ftlv- en a private lour of the White House prior to tlioir participation in the worship services.
